요즘 모든 디지털 제품은 소프트웨어가 소비자의 제품 기호를 판가름하는 핵심 역할을 한다. 하드웨어 스펙은 가격을 판가름하지만, 같은 가격에 더 좋은 제품은 결국 소프트웨어의 몫이 된다. 하드웨어와 드라이버도 튜닝이 많이 필요하지만, 정말로 오랜기간의 튜닝을 통한 최적화가 필요한 부분은 소프트웨어다.
